Following a BA in Economics and Politics in Dublin and an MsC in International relations in Amsterdam, Gary ultimately decided to enter the exciting world of Accountancy. After 3.5 years as a trainee, Gary qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in November 2009. During his time with KPMG he completed the audits of a number of private and publicly quoted companies, gaining IFRS, Irish/UK and US GAAP experience with exposure to a variety of industries, including Healthcare, Construction, Technology and Retail. Gary then had roles at Ernst & Young, Populis and Bimeda. Then the growing Start-up scene in Dublin came calling and Gary joined the LetsGetChecked team in 2020 as Controller, advancing to SVP of Finance later that year. LetsGetChecked is a global healthcare solutions company that provides the tools to manage health from home through direct access to diagnostic testing, virtual care, and medication delivery for a wide range of health and wellness conditions.
